Great, you have decided to pursue a custom leg brace for your dog and get back to playtime! The process of fabricating a brace starts with a cast of your dog’s leg. You can visit one of our My Pet’s Brace facilities or you can work with your local veterinarian/rehab professional for the process.

Diagnosis

Process 1
Ask your veterinarian to email or fax a written diagnosis of your dog’s injury to us.

Casting

Process 2
Call My Pet’s Brace to make an appointment for the casting of your dog’s leg.

Payment

Process 3
Full payment is due at the end of your casting appointment.

Fabrication

Every brace is hand-made in Morgantown, PA.

Braces are fabricated in 5 business days or less.


Expedite Service For An Additional Fee – Subject To Availability
At our Morgantown facility only, the brace can be done the next day. The casting appointment is the morning of the first day and the fitting appointment is the afternoon of the second day.

At our three other facilities, the fabrication time is reduced to 2 business days. Expedited fabrication is based on when we receive the cast at our Morgantown, PA location and is separate from shipping times and costs. Additional shipping fees apply if choosing options other than UPS ground.

Return to a My Pet’s Brace facility for the fitting of your dog’s brace. Follow up appointments are made at scheduled intervals or as needed. The completed brace can also be shipped to you if you prefer.

Ask your local/primary veterinarian if they have casting materials.

If your veterinarian has the casting materials, you can print the casting instructions and order forms.

If your veterinarian does not have casting materials, you can order a casting kit online.

Your veterinarian watches the training video and makes a cast of your dog’s leg. Fill out the forms and mail the cast and the forms to Morgantown, PA.

Payment

Process 3
Full payment is due to put the brace into production. You or your vet can pay us for the brace. We will call to take a credit card number, Care Credit number, or Scratch Pay number over the phone, or the check can be mailed with the cast.

Fabrication

Every brace is hand-made in Morgantown, PA in 5 business days or less and shipped to you or your veterinarian.

An expedite service is available for an additional fee. This reduces the fabrication time from 5 business days to 2 business days. Subject to availability.
