Creating a Device
Our process is simple. It begins as soon as your pet shows signs of pain and discomfort, often by limping or "favoring" a leg.
Veterinarian's Examination and Referral... The first step is a visit to your veterinarian who may refer you to a veterinary specialist. During consultation with your vet or the specialist, all of the clinical options for your pet will be reviewed. If you decide that a leg brace or prosthetic leg is best for your pet (and the pet's family) your veterinarian or specialist will contact us and fill out the My Pet's Brace documents describing in detail your pet's condition.
Completing this paperwork represents the necessary referral and creates an order (like a prescription for humans) for us to do the work. At My Pet's Brace we require a vet's referral because we firmly believe that the best care for your pet starts with a veterinarian's examination and diagnosis.
